Summer Adult Sunday School Series Focuses on the Church
"So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another."
- Romans 12:5
If Christians are meant to be God's Church, what does it mean for a Christian to be a member of a local church? This summer, we will answer that question in a new Adult Sunday School series based on the book Devoted to God's Church: Core Values for Christian Fellowship by Sinclair Ferguson.
Using the same name, we are entitling the class, "Devoted to God's Church". With each week's teaching, we hope to define what the church is and look at what it really means to be a Christian. Then, we will dive deeper and look at the key values we should hold onto as Christians who engage in the church.
We invite you to join us for this 11-week series on Sundays at 9:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
If you are unable to attend, we will be including the audio from each lesson below:
WEEK 7 Lesson Audio - Christian Baptism
WEEK 8 Lesson Audio - Prayer
WEEK 9 Lesson Audio - Christian Service
WEEK 10 Lesson Audio - Communion
WEEK 11 Lesson Audio - Christian Witness and World Mission
