"Blessed are those whose strength is in you, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. As they go through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the early rain also covers it with pools. They go from strength to strength; each one appears before God in Zion."
Psalm 84:5-7

We are continuing the weekly "Strength to Strength" series this summer with a new topic called Blueprints for Christian Growth. This time, we will be focusing on sanctification and how we can grow in holiness.

Using the book Devoted to God: Blueprints for Sanctification by Sinclair B. Ferguson as a study, we will see how we can reorient our perspective, focusing on God and our devotion to Him.  As Christians, the Lord is our strength. And in Him, we do not go from weakness to weakness or from weakness to strength. Instead, we “go from strength to strength; as each one appears before God in Zion” (Ps.84:7).

Here is an introduction to the series:

You can find the book at any Christian book retailer, including Amazon. While we are without evening worship services, we suggest watching the teaching videos when they premiere on Sundays at 5 pm EST. At that time, you can use the teachings as an introduction before reading the corresponding chapter during the week.  If you ever miss a teaching video, would like to re-watch one, use it for review at the end of a week; you can always find them here. We also have a running collection of all recorded Strength to Strength videos

We encourage you to make Devoted to God a part of your personal summer reading plan. Together, with the video series, you will have great material to know, GROW, and show forth the love of Christ.
